Love, Bonito to organise talks and workshops for female tertiary students on Mar 25

Love, Bonito will be organising an event to empower and inspire young women to be confident and pursue career leadership and excellence. 

Held on Mar 25 from 12.30pm to 3.30pm at Suntec City Summit 2, the event features various workshops and panel talks.

In conjunction with this year’s Love, Bonito International Women’s Day theme, #FeminineandProud, a panel discussion titled There Is Power In The Pack will feature four successful young women.

They include Joan Chang, the co-founder of Lloyds Inn, founder of Good Addition, Soup Cup, as well as the director of Macly Group, Christabel Chua, founder of kāi, Lily Wu, SEA & Greater China startup partner lead of Stripe and co-founder of Pixie World, and Azura Goh, a Ria 897 radio DJ, actress and podcast host.

These women will discuss and share on topics like opening doors to mentorships and rising in leadership roles in the workplace, as well as their experiences and insights on how to overcome challenges and achieve success.

At the event’s styling workshop, participants can receive fashion tips and recommendations for their first internship or full-time job from Love, Bonito’s vice president of design and development, Tingzhi.

Love, Bonito has also partnered with kāi, a lifestyle brand founded by Christabel Chua to produce three exclusive co-branded products; a cold cup, bucket hat and a pair of socks.

These will be made available pre-launch to all event attendees on Mar 25, and to the public from Mar 27 onwards. A minimum spend of $120, $140 and $160 is required for redemption of a pair of socks, a bucket hat and a cold cup respectively. 

Participants can also look forward to exclusive deals upon purchase of tickets and additional themed merchandise, including a goodie bag containing freebies like a $5 Love, Bonito gift card, a $5 kāi gift card, a free MAC makeover voucher and a $5 Flash Coffee voucher.

Public admission tickets can be purchased online, but the event is open to same day walk-ins.
