Louis Vuitton holds 200th anniversary exhibition, features ‘imaginative trunks created by 200 visionaries’
The exhibition will be held from Apr 4 to 27.
In celebration of the brand’s 200th anniversary, Louis Vuitton is hosting the 200 Trunks, 200 Visionaries: The Exhibition in Singapore from Apr 4 to 27.
Singapore will be the exhibition’s second stop in its global journey, with the first one being France.
The exhibition showcases 200 uniquely designed trunks, with each blank trunk measuring approximately the same dimensions as the original trunk made by Louis in the 1850s. The exhibition is created and crafted by “a mosaic of talents and friends spanning arts and culture, the sciences, sports, global causes and more”.
Some trunks that visitors can look forward to seeing include those designed by BTS, LEGO, Kim Jones & Supreme.
The exhibition is free and will be open from 6pm to 9pm on Apr 4, and 10am to 9pm on the subsequent days. Visitors will have to book a day and time slot here.
The exhibition is located at Marina Bay Sands Event Plaza, 10 Bayfront Avenue, near the Louis Vuitton Marina Bay Store.
