Local vintage brand Vintagewknd to open new store at Haji Lane on Mar 24
This will be the brand’s first official move from its warehouse space where it has operated out of since 2018.
Thrift and vintage enthusiasts can look forward to Vintagewknd’s official store opening at Haji Lane on Friday (Mar 24).
This will be the brand’s first official move from its warehouse space, opened since 2018.
“This is definitely a significant moment for us as we have wanted to open a store right from the beginning,” Eileen Tan, 31, the co-founder of Vintagewknd, told Youthopia.
“We could have done it a year or two ago, but COVID-19 put a stop to our plan,” she added.

The founders shared that the move to a shopfront is to ensure that the brand is more accessible for customers. They also hope that it exposes more people to the brand’s efforts in promoting sustainability.
Eden Tay, 31, co-founder of Vintagewknd, said that the whole purpose of starting the brand was to “give back to the planet more than what we take away from it”.
“To date, we have sold 100,000 items and that accumulates to about 50 tonnes. We are now looking to have more people know about us and to remove as many tonnes as possible to make the largest impact.”
With the new store, the duo is working towards enhancing their designs and exploring new materials such as curtains and pillowcases.
Customers can expect to purchase various products such as tops, pants, bags and dresses at the new store. The prices of items range from $15 to $150.
The store is located at 41 Haji Lane and is open daily from 12pm to 9pm.
