Local skateboarding school Por Vida Skateboarding to open indoor skatepark at GR.iD Mall on Oct 1
Entry to the skatepark will cost $15 per pax for a two hour session.
GR.iD Mall will soon house Singapore’s largest indoor skatepark when it opens its doors on Oct 1.
Spanning over 6,708 sq ft, the Por Vida Skateboarding Indoor Park and School will be the sole indoor space in Singapore with a range of facilities dedicated to skateboarding.
Located at the basement of the mall, the air-conditioned space has a capacity limit of 35 pax and will be open from 10am to 10pm daily.
The skatepark is specially designed and customised with various skate obstacles like mini ramps, quarter pipes, flat bar and rails, making the space suitable for skateboarders of all skill levels and ages.
Besides skateboarding, park-goers can also engage in rollerblading, roller skating, longboarding and surf skating.
Entry to the skatepark costs $15 per pax for a two hour session. Tickets can be purchased via its website or by walk-in.
Por Vida Skateboarding will also host skateboarding classes at the skatepark, helmed by a team of specially selected certified skateboard instructors.
There are non-private lessons catered to both beginners and intermediates, costing $200 and $240 respectively for four sessions per module. Students can also opt for private lessons ranging from $85 to $1,230, depending on group size.
Trial lessons are available at $45 per session for students to learn the basics and be assessed for a suitable lesson plan.
Starting from Sep 5, the first 50 new sign-ups will receive goodie bags containing exclusive Pro Vida Skateboarding merchandise. Registration for the October intake and the full list of classes can be found on their website here.
