Live music performances, classic arcade games to feature at NParks’ Rockestra concert on Jul 1
The concert will feature old school hits performed by local bands such as Enigma, Jive Talkin' and SuperSonic.
Members of the public can enjoy a night of music at the returning National Parks Board’s (NParks) Concert Series in the Park: Rockestra! on Jul 1.
Held at Fort Canning Park from 6.30pm to 10pm, visitors can look forward to old school hits performed live by local bands such as Enigma, Jive Talkin’ and SuperSonic.
Themed Dance Dance Retro, the concert will be hosted by local emcee and event producer Justin Misson, who is known for his role in local comedy film franchise, Ah Boys to Men.
Aside from the live performances, visitors can grab bites on hot dogs, burgers and smoothies that will be sold during the concert. Classic arcade games will also be available for visitors to play.
The previous edition of the concert was held in February at Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park, where it featured a mix of classic English and Chinese hits performed by local artists such as Jason Chung, Little Band Plus and Tay Ke Xin.
Admission to the Concert Series in the Park: Rockestra! is free and open to the public. Those looking to bring along their pets may do so as the event is pet friendly.
