Marvel shows formerly on Netflix will be added to Disney+’s catalogue on Mar 16, as the platform attempts to become a one-stop shop for Marvel content.

These shows are Daredevil, Jessica Jones, The Punisher, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and The Defenders

These were formerly developed as Netflix Originals, as Disney did not have its own streaming service for franchises it owned at the time. Jessica Jones and Daredevil premiered on the site in 2015, Luke Cage came out in 2016 and Iron Fist, The Punisher and The Defenders premiered in 2017.

The six Marvel properties were taken off Netflix on Mar 1 this year.

Now that Disney+ is available in most countries, Disney-owned properties will begin shifting onto the platform so that fans of these franchises can watch related shows all on one platform.

However, Disney+ is still missing some Marvel titles, notably all the Spider-Man movies, from 2002’s Spider-Man to 2022’s Spider-Man: No Way Home
