Lions Befrienders partners EZ-Link to launch limited edition card promoting inclusivity
The card’s artwork is designed by 72-year-old Mdm Ruhainah, one of Lions Befrienders’ beneficiaries.
EZ-Link and social service agency Lions Befrienders Singapore have partnered to launch a new card to serve as a visual reminder for Singaporeans to stay connected with the elderly.
Designed by 72-year-old Mdm Ruhainah, who is one of the seniors and beneficiaries of Lions Befrienders, the artwork depicts harmonious relationships between different age groups.

The artwork bears the name Unlonely as an ode to the Unlonely Movement spearheaded by Lions Befrienders, raising awareness about the effects of loneliness on the mental health of socially isolated seniors in society.
It also aims to normalise conversations regarding emotional health.
In support of the movement which launches in November this year, EZ-Link will feature more information of the initiative on the Discover page on the EZ-Link app and direct users to the Lions Befrienders’ page on giving.sg, should they wish to make a donation.
EZ-Link has also pledged to make a donation of $10,000 to Lions Befrienders to support their work in helping seniors.
The limited edition card is available at SBS Transit Passenger Service Centres located at Punggol, Boon Keng, Farrer Park, Serangoon, Sengkang, Kovan and Beauty World. It will retail at $10, with an existing card balance of $5.
It will also be available for sale on the EZ-Link’s official Shopee store at $5 per card from Jul 25 and comes with an exclusive card sleeve packaging. Cards purchased from the store will not include the existing balance of $5.
