Has Christmas gift-shopping slipped your mind or have you been too caught up with work to go on a shopping trip?

Well, we’ve got you covered with this list of last-minute but meaningful gift ideas.

1. Gift cards

Picking Christmas gifts may be quite a challenge, but it doesn’t have to be. Gift cards are easy to get, practical and make good presents too!

For caffeine lovers, you can get one from Starbucks, The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, or Coffeesmith starting from $10.

If you’re getting a gift for a tech junkie, you can consider Challenger and for those who love a good workout, Decathlon has a ton of stuff they will potentially like.

2. Wine

Christmas is a time to celebrate the end of the year and look back on far you’ve come.

So why not show up to a Christmas party with a bottle of wine from Aby and spend an evening catching up with your friends and family?

You can also pair the wine with some snacks!

3. Chocolate

Chocolates always make a great gift. They’re in nice packages, are reasonably priced and taste amazing too.

Assemble an array of chocolates from Godiva, Anjalichocolat, Venchi Chocolate or even your nearest supermarket and watch the face of your friend or family member lit up in delight.

4. Hoodie

Who will say no to a hoodie? It’s such a versatile piece of clothing.

Feeling sad? Put on a hoodie and listen to James Bay on Spotify. Not in the mood to dress up? Show up to school in a hoodie and jeans.

Feeling cold amid the monsoon season? A hoodie will keep you warm.

Whether you head down to Pull&Bear, Abercrombie & Fitch or H&M, there’s surely a design for everyone.

5. Baked goods

If your friend is a huge fan of cookies or pastries, this may be a good option for you.

Get a box of mini donuts from Krispy Kreme, a Christmas Gift Box from Famous Amos, or a box of six cupcakes from Twelve Cupcakes and you’re good to go!

If you love baking, you can search for a simple cookie recipe and bake some for them!

6. Fruit baskets

Sometimes, the most appreciated last-minute gifts are the most practical.

Simply grab a basket and fill it up with all sorts of their favourite fruits – apples, pears, orange, kiwis, bananas, anything that they like.
