Largest Timezone outlet to open at Orchard Xchange on Apr 21; features bumper cars, VR arena

Timezone will open its newest and largest outlet at Orchard Xchange on Friday (Apr 21).

Spanning 22,000 sq ft, Timezone Orchard Xchange will feature over 160 flashy games and attractions like bumper cars, social bowling and Virtual Reality (VR) arenas.

The Social Bowling area has four lanes that are shorter than that of standard bowling lanes and can be used for either mini bowling or social bowling.

Each social bowling game will make use of typical bowling balls and interactive projection technology, while each mini bowling game will use mini bowling balls more suitable for young children and the elderly.

The bumper cars area features six cars with 360-degree spin controls and safety features such as high backseats.

Timezone Orchard Xchange also has two exclusive games: The HillBilly’s Shooting Gallery, and Arkadia VR Arena.

The HillBilly’s Shooting Gallery is said to be a “next-generation animation-based shooting gallery” that can be played by up to six people at a time. The Arkadia VR Arena boasts a total of six VR games that can be played by up to six people at any given time. 

Interested individuals may either compete with one another in a sci-fi racing or shooter game, have a virtual snowball fight, or work together to take down enemies as superheros in the world of VR.

Accompanying the games are two fully-equipped party rooms, where private parties, events and celebrations can be held at. They can be booked with Timezone’s Fun Package, which is priced at $55 per child and comes with 45 minutes of party area usage, 90 minutes of Timezone play and 500 tickets for each invited child which they can use to redeem prizes with at the Prize Shop.

When visiting Timezone Orchard Xchange during opening day, individuals can make use of exclusive deals on Timezone Fun App to redeem extra credits. These deals will also be available for other venues from Apr 22 to 23.

The outlet is located above Orchard MRT at Orchard Xchange Basement 1. It operates from 11am to 10pm from Mondays to Thursdays, 11am to 11pm on Fridays and eve of Public holidays, 10am to 11pm on Saturdays, and 10am to 10pm on Sundays, public and school holidays.
