Korean sci-fi thriller Grid dropping on Disney+ on Feb 16
The drama revolves around a detective and police officer trying to track down humanity’s saviour, who is now a suspected accomplice to murder.
If you’re a fan of science fiction, mysteries or thrillers, then you’re not going to want to miss the premiere of Grid on Disney+.
Grid is set 24 years after humanity was supposed to be devastated by solar winds, but was saved by a mysterious figure known only as the Ghost.
However, now humanity’s saviour is suspected to be aiding and abetting a serial killer.
The show follows government agent Kim Sae-ha (played by Seo Kang-jun) and vigilant police detective Jung Sae-byeok (played by Kim A-joong) as they track down the Ghost and figure out why they seem to have switched sides.
The trailer shows our two leads chasing after the Ghost and aforementioned serial killer in a sci-fi version of Earth that now has teleportation, levitation technology and the Grid system that was made by the Ghost all those years ago.
The show was written by critically acclaimed screenwriter Lee Soo-yeon, and directed by Lee Khan and Park Cheol-hwan.
Grid premieres exclusively on Disney+ on Feb 16.
