Korea Travel Fair to be held at Our Tampines Hub May 12-14; actor Lee Do Hyun to make appearance

More than 55 exhibitors will set up booths at the event.

The Korea Travel Fair will be held from May 12 to 14 at Our Tampines Hub.

The fair will feature art and music performances, cooking classes, K-beauty makeup demonstrations, travel promotions and a guest appearance from The Glory star Lee Do Hyun.

Over 55 exhibitors will be present at the event, including regional tourism organisations, airlines, travel agencies and Korean retailers.

Booths will be set up for visitors to check out travelling deals to Korea and other travelling information about the different regions in South Korea. 

Non-verbal performance titled The Painters will showcase a performance that combines painting, miming, dancing and comedy with visual effects.

Visitors can also participate in cooking classes and learn how to prepare Korean dishes like sundubu jjigae (spicy soft tofu stew) and bibimbap (mixed rice with vegetables).

Live K-beauty demonstrations will also be held, allowing visitors to learn more about Korean beauty trends and to master makeup techniques. Cosmetic samples can also be redeemed.

Korean actor Lee Do Hyun, who stars in the popular K-drama series The Glory, will  make an appearance at the fair. This will be his first visit to Singapore.

Slots for the cooking classes and K-beauty demonstrations are currently fully booked. Should more slots be available, the organiser will update on its Instagram and Facebook platforms.
