KOI Thé Singapore launches BB Bear mystery box for 16th anniversary

KOI is celebrating its 16th anniversary with the release of new mystery boxes containing six BB (Bubble) Bear characters. 

The BB Bear collectibles were released at selected KOI outlets on Sep 23, and include Honey, Browny, Taro, Bubble and Macchiato. However, the remaining BB Bear has not been revealed to customers. 

First launched in 2020, the BB Bear has quickly established itself as KOI’s mascot, appearing on merchandise such as key chains.

The bubble tea brand first teased their mystery box by displaying six white silhouettes in a Facebook video on Sep 20. The silhouettes were later revealed to be six different versions of KOI’s mascot BB Bear inspired by various flavours of bubble tea.

One mystery box containing a random BB Bear collectible is available at $5.90 on top of the purchase of one drink.

For the KOI fanatics looking to complete their collection as soon as possible, a carton of eight BB Bears are available at a price of $59. The carton guarantees all six unique characters, so customers do not have to try their luck when aiming for a specific collectible.

Avid KOI fans can visit selected KOI outlets where the mystery boxes are up for sale, though the boxes are only available while stocks last.
