The documentary marks the group's 18th anniversary.
K-pop fans and Disney+ subscribers can look forward to an exclusive documentary on legendary K-pop boy band, SUPER JUNIOR, premiering on Jan 18, 2023.
The release of the documentary marks the group’s 18th anniversary.
Titled SUPER JUNIOR: THE LAST MAN STANDING, the documentary tracks the band’s record-breaking success, first across Asia and then around the world, beginning with their formation as SUPER JUNIOR 05.

It also includes never-before-seen interviews where the members of the group reflect on their illustrious career and share their personal experiences to provide fans with fascinating new insights into the group and the current K-pop scene.
The band originally consisted of 12 members, however over time, Kyuhyun joined the group while Han Geng, Kibum, and Kangin left. There are now nine members who are still actively involved: Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Eunhyuk, Siwon, Donghae, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun.
SUPER JUNIOR: THE LAST MAN STANDING is one of many Korean titles coming to Disney+ in the coming months, including the sequel to Soundtrack #1, Soundtrack #2; Shadow Detective Season 2; RACE and several other popular K-pop documentaries.
It was first announced last month as part of an expanded slate of local APAC content at the Disney Content Showcase in Singapore.
According to SUPER JUNIOR’s official Instagram account, SUPER JUNIOR will return on Dec 15 with the second installment of their 11th full-length album, The Road.
Along with the second volume of The Road, titled Celebration, SUPER JUNIOR will release a music video for the song Celebrate.
