K-Pop girl group Red Velvet to perform in Singapore on Apr 21 as part of 2023 global tour ‘R to V’
The upcoming concert will mark the fourth time that Red Velvet has performed in Singapore.
K-pop girl group Red Velvet is set to perform in Singapore on Apr 21 as part of their fourth world tour R to V.
On Monday (Mar 27), the five-member group announced tour dates for major cities in Asia and Europe along with two shows in Seoul, South Korea.
The group’s concert in Singapore will mark the start of the tour’s Asia leg.
After Singapore, Red Velvet will hold two shows in Yokohama, Japan, in early May, before heading to the Philippines, Thailand and Indonesia.
They will then head to Paris, France on May 24 and play concerts in Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

The upcoming concert will mark the second time that Red Velvet has performed in Singapore.
Having debuted in 2014, Red Velvet is a South Korean girl group formed and managed by SM Entertainment. The group consists of five members; Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy and Yeri.
Red Velvet’s Korean discography includes two studio albums, one reissue album, one compilation album and 10 extended plays.
The group has attained international fame from viral hit songs like Psycho, Bad Boy and Russian Roulette.
Wendy was the first member of Red Velvet to debut as a soloist; with her EP Like Water being released in 2021. This was followed by Joy’s EP Hello in the same year.
Most recently in 2022, member Seulgi made her solo debut with her first-ever mini-album 28 Reasons.
The quintet previously performed in Singapore in 2018 as part of their REDMARE world tour. Held at The Star Theatre, the show was organised by ONE Production.
