K-pop fans can look forward to an exciting week in March packed full of their favourite artists as KCON:TACT 3 is returning from Mar 20 to 28!

First announced on Feb 16, KCON:TACT returns for its third season after the success of its previous editions.

The festival is the online version of the popular KCON music convention that was previously held at various locations around the world before the pandemic pulled the brakes on physical events.

Popular idol groups The Boyz, ITZY, Dreamcatcher, MAMAMOO, ATEEZ and Tomorrow X Together are among many announced.

Soloists Jessi, Sunmi, WOODZ (Cho Seung Youn), HyunA, Kang Daniel and more will also be performing at the event.

KCON:TACT will feature a series of programmes including a meet and greet segment and KCON Studio, where artists and influencers introduce K-Culture to the viewers.

Fans can apply to be a LIVE KCON-er – a special member of the online audience – from Mar 3 to 10. Winners selected to be a LIVE KCON-er will stand a chance to interact virtually with the artists during their concert and meet-and-greet segments.

This year’s event will be live-streamed globally on YouTube and viewers are required to join a paid membership on KCON Official or Mnet K-POP to access KCON:TACT.

Membership opens on Mar 2 and prices start from $19.99, depending on the type of membership. Each tier will grant access to different content that includes backstage access, multi-angle services, interactive live programmes and more.

Do note that channel membership for KCON:TACT is different from a YouTube Premium subscription and premium users are still required to join the membership to access the event. The membership guide can be found here.

Similar to last year’s event, a portion of ticket proceeds will be donated to UNESCO’s Learning Never Stops campaign to support students whose education has been affected due to the pandemic.

Further event details will be revealed in the coming weeks. Fans can stay up to date on the latest announcements via KCON Official’s Twitter, Instagram and Facebook page.
