JobStreet career fair to return as in-person event on Aug 19 and 20; features networking opportunities, expert talks, resume clinic
The career fair, named SEEK Better, will also allow job seekers to enhance their industry knowledge.
The SEEK Better Career Fair, organised by JobStreet, is set to make a comeback as an in-person event from Aug 19 to 20.
Taking place at the Sands Expo & Convention Center, the event will offer a multitude of job prospects, along with chances for networking and enhancing industry knowledge through the seekTALKS sessions.
The career fair will be divided into three zones — Enhance, Enrich and Engage.
In the Enhance Zone, job seekers can seek assistance in refining their career direction and enhancing their resumes. Attendees will also have the opportunity to update their CVs and have a complimentary photo taken by a professional photographer.
Within the Enrich Zone, experts will offer career advice and insider insights about the industry through specially curated “Career Insights” talks, where representatives from Ogilvy, GovTech, and NCS will delve into the most recent hiring trends.
They will also guide job seekers on excelling in job interviews and share insights on effectively navigating salary negotiations.
On the second day of the event, job seekers will have the opportunity to participate in talks focused on gaining insights into the sought-after digital skills needed for 2024, managing career transitions, and effectively navigating diverse personalities in the workplace.
The Engage Zone is where jobseekers can explore job opportunities from employers in Singapore. This encompasses notable organisations like Outward Bound Singapore (OBS), National University Health System (NUHS), McDonald’s, and Resorts World Sentosa.
Job seekers who register for the career fair can also participate in a lucky draw and stand a chance to win prizes including an iPad, MacBook Air, or an iPhone 14 Pro Max.
