They will cost $12 for a box of three and are available for a limited time.
Ji Xiang Confectionery has released minion-shaped ang ku kuehs inspired by the popular Despicable Me franchise, which is available for a limited time from Tuesday (Jul 5).
These yellow and blue ang ku kuehs will contain a “surprise flavour combination” of sweet mung bean paste and a small piece of banana, the minions’ favourite fruit.
They are inspired by the various characters in the various “Despicable Me” movies, including popular characters like minions Kevin, Stuart and Bob.
Ji Xiang Ang Ku Kueh is a local brand whose ang ku kuehs have been well-known since 1988.
Previously, the brand curated ang ku kuehs shaped like the pink jumpsuit-wearing guards from Netflix’s blockbuster “Squid Game”.
The minion ang ku kuehs will cost $12 for a box of three and will be available at Ji Xiang’s Bugis Village flagship store, Lau Pa Sat Food Folks, Plaza Singapura Kopitiam and Jurong Point Kopitiam, while stocks last
Besides the specials, the traditional ang ku kuehs will still be available for purchase.
