As the World Cup progresses on to the knockout rounds, ardent fans can catch the adrenaline pumping football matches live at the heart of Jewel’s centrepiece attraction.

From Dec 3, Football Mania at Jewel will bring live screenings of the quadrennial sporting event on a mega LED screen at the Shiseido Forest Valley. A partnership with Qatar Airways, this is Southeast Asia’s largest public screening supported by the airline.

Football fans can root for their favourite national teams in the comfort of a spacious and lush indoor garden with a seating capacity that can accommodate up to 600 people.

Visitors can redeem complimentary two hour parking when they spend a minimum of $20 in a single receipt at participating outlets.

With an Early Check-in (ECI) facility located at level one of Jewel, tourists and travellers with late night or early morning flights can also catch the matches before proceeding on with their travels.

Fans who predict the correct winning team at every screening leading to the finals will stand a chance to walk away with up to $5,000 worth of Jewel gift vouchers. There are also pre-match and half-time activities where fans can answer trivia and participate in games to win exclusive prizes from Qatar and Adidas.

In addition, exciting football-themed fringe activities are also lined up ahead of the live public screenings.

From Dec 1, fans can play e-football console games and e-football challenges that are catered for both the young and old.

Live e-tournament games will be held on Dec 4, 11 and 18, and winners can go home with Jewel gift vouchers, Canopy Park Attraction tickets and Adidas merchandise worth more than $5,000.

Aspiring football players can also participate in the Neymar Challenger where they can pitch their skills against the Brazilian player. All fans have to do is to follow Neymar’s demonstrations on the screen using the official FIFA ball, scan the QR code at the venue and stand a chance to win flight tickets to anywhere in Europe on Qatar Airways.

From Dec 3 to 10, visitors can find photo opportunities with the giant official FIFA Adidas match ball at level two of Jewel’s South Lookout.

A few F&B establishments have also extended their operating hours at Jewel to 2am during the days of the screenings so football fans never have to go hungry mid-match. Supper options are available at Beauty in the Pot which opens till 3am.

Fans can also watch select matches at ST3PS at Terminal 3 basement two.
