The Istana will open its doors to the public in celebration of National Day.
In honour of National Day, the Istana will open to the public on Aug 1 for the first time since the pandemic struck Singapore last year.
This will be the first time visitors can enter the Istana since it was closed to the public in February 2020 due to COVID-19.
With the gradual easing of measures, ticket holders of the cancelled IOH on May 13 will be able to attend the upcoming one on Aug 1.
To avoid large group gatherings, there will be no performances, tours, booths or food trucks during this IOH.
Safe distancing ambassadors will also be deployed to ensure that visitors adhere to safe distancing measures during the event.
