ION Art Gallery’s latest photography exhibition is running in conjunction with Cancer Survivor Month.

Titled Ahead of Time, the free exhibition is organised by the Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF) and showcases 25 breast cancer survivors’ stories from now till Jun 30.

It was created to raise awareness regarding breast cancer as well as to spark conversations about early breast cancer detection, said ION Orchard in a media release.

Photos showcased in the exhibition were taken by nine notable photographers, including Russel Wong, Mark Law and Lee Jen.

The photographs portray the strength, vulnerability, and resilience of women from all walks of life who were affected by breast cancer.

As part of ION Orchard’s Love Our World campaign, which promotes sustainable living, the exhibits are printed in fine art222 paper made from 100 per cent cotton rags and are framed with recyclable frames.

The ION Art Gallery is located on Level 4 of ION Orchard and is open from 10am to 9pm.
