International artistes DJ Snake, R3HAB to headline music festival HypeWorld from Oct 22 to 23

The festival will take place at The Meadow in the Gardens by The Bay.

For those who cannot wait to let loose at the end of the year, you can start hyping yourselves up as the music festival HypeWorld will hit Gardens by the Bay from Oct 22 to 23.

Taking place at The Meadow, the festival’s first ever edition is organised by Singaporean record label Hype Records and headlined by international artistes such as Grammy-nominated producer DJ Snake and multi-Platinum DJ R3HAB. 

Fans may already be familiar with DJ Snake’s songs, such as Taki Taki with Cardi B, Selena Gomez and Ozuna and Lean On with Major Lazer.

R3HAB has remixed for artistes such as Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris and currently ranks 12th place on the DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs chart for 2021, a British publication that covers electronic music worldwide.

Local and regional acts will also take the stage, including Indonesian trio Weird Genius and homegrown content creator and DJ Nicole Choo.

The first day’s line-up comprises DJ Snake, R3HAB, Slushii, Habstrakt and Singaporean DJs Nicole Alexa Choo and DJ JAZ.

The second day will comprise ​​Kaskade, Yellow Claw, MORTEN, Mercer, Weird Genius and DJ Tinc.

According to Hype Records’ Instagram and TikTok, there will also be food and workout activities at the festival.

HypeWorld tickets go for $158 for the 1-day pass and $278 for the 2-day pass. The event is set to begin at 4pm on both days.
