Instagram Music now available in Singapore
The new feature appears to have been fully released in the country on Sep 20.
Instagram music was released in July 2018, but only in seven countries in the West – US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, France, Canada, and Germany.
It appears that the feature has been released to all Instagram users in Singapore on Monday (Sep 20). Users on the Reddit Singapore community have pointed out that they have been able to access the feature.
However, not all Instagram users have access to the same music library though. A check by Youthopia showed that some accounts have only stock music options, while others are able to select songs across different genres.
These include Adele’s Make You Feel My Love, Leona Lewis’ Bleeding Love, Bruno Mars’ Uptown Funk, Ariana Grande’s NASA, Selena Gomez’s Hands To Myself and Lewis Capaldi’s Before You Go.

This isn’t the first time that Instagram Music was made available in Singapore, though.
In July, a Reddit thread titled “Instagram Music is finally in SG” was created, although users quickly realised that the feature was available in only certain locations in the country. One user noted that he could use it in school but not at home.

If you want to test out Instagram Music, it can be found under your Instagram Stories featured stickers.
