Inaugural Singapore Festival of Football to host 5 European Football clubs including Liverpool, Bayern Munich Jul 26-Aug 2

Top European football sides Liverpool FC and Bayern Munich will play a friendly match here as part of the inaugural Singapore Festival of Football.

The festival, which takes place from Jul 26 to Aug 2, will see Leicester City, Tottenham Hotspur and AS Roma play at the Singapore National Stadium too. In total, three matches involving the five teams will be held.

Liverpool will take on fellow English Premier League side Leicester City in the Standard Chartered Singapore Trophy on Jul 30, and take on German giants Bayern on Aug 2. The Reds will also hold an open training session on Jul 29.

Tickets for each game range from $99 to $899. Liverpool fans can also purchase a bundle for both matches, with prices ranging from $160 to $400.

The other match will see Tottenham Hotspur take on the Serie A side AS Roma on Jul 26. The match had been previously announced in May.

Ticket prices range between $103 and $903 for the Tiger Cup.

Liverpool FC, FC Bayern Munich and Spurs will also hold open training sessions on Jul 25, Jul 29 and Aug 1.

The two English clubs will hold their sessions at the 55,000-seat National Stadium while FC Bayern Munich are expected to announce details of their open training session in the coming weeks.

The public will also get various opportunities to catch a glimpse of their favourite footballers visiting iconic sites across the island.

Additionally, spectators can look forward to a series of offerings at the Football Fan Interactive Festival Village throughout the week. The village will be open to the public on open training and match days.

It will also open its doors on Aug 1, a day before the final match between Liverpool FC and FC Bayern Munich.

Fans can sign up for an account on Ticketek Singapore for pre-sale access to the tickets for the matches from May 16. General public sales will begin on May 22 at 10am.
