IMPACT 0075: SAYUR STORY
Man Wei is an undergraduate visual communication design student who started SayurStory, a Facebook page for foreign domestic workers (FDW) and Singaporeans to discuss gardening and cooking, after realising that they were potential activities to foster stronger relationships between the groups of people.
The personal and cultural exchanges that took place online have since moved offline, with the relaxing of safe-distancing measures, allowing FDWs and Singaporeans to connect with nature and their community outdoors.
