IMPACT 0065: GREEN FINGERS FOR A MORE SUSTAINABLE SINGAPORE
Samantha Chin, 33, joined Comcrop in 2013 to better understand Singapore’s agriculture industry and the origin of food.
Comcrop, Singapore’s urban farming pioneer, aims to contribute to Singapore’s food production and self-sustainability by looking at under-utilised spaces to grow and produce herbs and vegetables. Samantha is in charge of the operations of the farm, and works closely with her colleagues to expand the farm and reach the country’s goal of producing 30 per cent of its nutritional needs by 2030.
