IMPACT 0036: CLASSROOM HERO
After learning about the Yemen Crisis, 16-year-old Zi Xin realised there was no time like the present to take action and help in any way she could. She started commissioning her artwork on Instagram to raise funds for crisis relief, but quickly learnt it wasn’t as easy as she thought.
Despite not raising as much money as she’d hoped, she discovered that giving back wasn’t about having the big bucks, but having a big heart.
This comic strip showcases the four stages of grief, action, insecurity and acceptance that Zi Xin went through when she decided to step out of her comfort zone and assist those in need.
