IMPACT 0009: FINANCIAL INCLUSION IN MYANMAR
Leaving his job as a high-flying private banker, Leon Qiu, 33, was inspired to assist the financially excluded by improving their access to credit. He made the bold decision to relocate to Myanmar and founded Daung Capital Myanmar in 2018 which made motorcycle loans accessible to the poorest of Burmese. In 2020, he accepted the role as CEO of Get-All Myanmar, a Burmese tech behemoth providing ride hailing and micro-retail services.
This artwork brings us through his professional journey, and how his giving spirit has also inspired his son to follow suit.
