What does a post-COVID-19 world look like to 30-year-old Andy Tay? To this Assistant Professor, it looks like one with greener pastures – literally. After witnessing the effects COVID-19 had on our supply chains, Andy realised we relied way too much on imported food products.
With no time to waste, he swiftly pivoted his research to focus on our Agri-technology sector to reach the goal of growing 30 per cent of our own food supply by 2030.
