Interested in making music but not sure where to start? In the words of Swedish House Mafia, “Don’t you worry, don’t you worry child”.

Set to launch in late October, IKEA’s OBEGRÄNSAD collection was made in collaboration with Swedish house music group, Swedish House Mafia.

The collection is intended to “enable the many rising creatives in music and digital arts to build the perfect home studio at an affordable price”, according to IKEA.

It consists of more than 20 products such as LED work, wall and floor lamps, a clock, rug and sleepers. There are also four options of bags, a throw and a cushion cover.

The collection’s own shelving unit comes with extra space for amplifiers and the desk is equipped with speaker stands and a pull-out shelf. Laptop, tablet, speaker and record stands are also included in the collection.

The clock also features ambient lighting for creating the “right mood and getting into creative flow”.

The electronic music artists wanted to make music creation more accessible to people.

“Hopefully our collection inspires and enables more people to be more creative within their home and it does not have to be restricted to only music making, it can be so much more,” Swedish House Mafia said.

To all aspiring music creatives, it looks like “heaven’s got a plan for you”.

IKEA’s OBEGRÄNSAD collection will be available in Singapore late October 2022.
