The new food items are not permanent on the menu.
IKEA has launched Spanish and fusion-inspired food, a new halal menu and sets for two from Apr 1 to May 31.
IKEA’s very own version of the Spanish dish, paella, will come in two versions — chicken and seafood which costs $10.90 and $14.90 respectively. The seafood paella consists of salmon and prawns. The dish is available as a Wednesday dinner special from Apr 6 to May 25.
In addition to the current halal menu, IKEA has released a few Asian and Western fusion foods which will be available from Apr 1 to May 3.
The nasi kerabu chicken leg set ($8.50) features a blue pea-coloured rice and is paired with a variety of assortments such as chicken, egg and keropok.
Similarly, the beef cheek rendang with mashed potato and mushroom soup which costs $18.50 is an alternative for those looking for a complete meal as it includes a main and a side dish.
IKEA has also launched two set items which are only available at the Jurong outlet. These sets are only available from Apr 1 to May 31.
The high tea set for two will be priced at $7.90 and is inclusive of an apple cake, muffin, chocolate cake with crunchy caramel and two premium teas. This will only be available from 3pm to 5pm daily and while stocks last.
The FAMILY platter ($22.90) which includes a lamb shank, grilled chicken, two spring rolls, fries and mixed vegetables will be launched too. The platter will include two Loka drinks. This dish is only made available from Monday to Friday from 5pm to 7pm.
IKEA Family Cardmembers will be entitled to discounts on the said dishes.
