IKEA Alexandra, several Orchard Road malls among locations visited by COVID-19 cases while infectious

IKEA Alexandra, 313@Somerset, Paragon and Wheelock Place  were visited by COVID-19 cases while infectious, the Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday (Jan 5). 

A total of 11 locations were added onto the Ministry of Health’s list. Other locations include VivoCity, Parkway Parade Mall and a coffee shop at Jurong East Street 21. 

Details for the location are as follow: 

  1. Choice@215 coffee shop at Block 215 Jurong East Street 21 on Dec 24, between 6pm and 10pm
  2. Hogs Bar & Restaurant at 382 Joo Chiat Road on Dec 24, between 7.15pm and 11pm
  3. Cedele Bakery Cafe at Velocity mall in Novena on Dec 25, between 2.10pm and 3pm
  4. IKEA Alexandra on Dec 25, between 4.40pm and 5.35pm
  5. Prive Paragon at Paragon Orchard mall on Dec 25, between 7.40pm and 9pm
  6. Zara outlet at 313@Somerset mall on Dec 26, between 1.50pm and 2.30pm
  7. Cedele All Day Dining at Wheelock Place on Dec 26, between 4.45pm and 5.40pm
  8. Mayoral store at Paragon Orchard on Dec 26, between 6.05pm and 6.40pm
  9. Cedele Bakery Cafe at VivoCity mall on Dec 27, between 4.30pm and 7.45pm
  10. Kids Fashion Bazaar at Parkway Parade mall on Dec 28, between 3.40pm and 4.45pm
  11. The Dragon Chamber restaurant at 2 Circular Road on Dec 29, between 8.55pm and 11pm

The list is updated by MOH on a rolling 14-day basis, or one incubation period, and as epidemiological investigations progress.

If you were at any of the locations during the specified timings, you should monitor your health closely for 14 days from your date of visit as a precautionary measure, MOH advised.

There were 28 new COVID-19 infections reported in Singapore on Tuesday, with two in the community.
