Iconic Japanese-themed garden McDonald’s in Queensway to close in December 2021

After 32 years of operation, the picturesque and scenic McDonald’s outlet will be gone soon.

Widely known for being the most unique McDonald’s outlet in Singapore, the iconic McDonald’s outlet at Ridout Tea Garden in Queensway will shut down after 32 years of operation. 

Located at #01-580 Ridout Tea Garden, McDonald’s Queensway will cease all operations in December 2021 once its lease expires. 

The Singapore Land Authority has launched a Price and Quality tender for the property, which is a part of the Queenstown Heritage Trail.

The McDonald’s Queensway outlet is one of the oldest McDonald’s outlets in Singapore. The oldest is at People’s Park Complex, with the outlet in operation since 1979. 

If you’re interested in enjoying a comforting meal at the picturesque and scenic McDonald’s outlet for one last time, you can still do so until the end of the year. The outlet operates from 7am to 2am daily.
