Ice-cream parlours you have to try in Singapore
You don’t have to keep returning to Gelare or Ben & Jerry’s.
Dessert is always a good idea, especially if you have a sweet tooth.
And ice-cream is probably the best choice for a dessert – it goes with anything, from brownies to waffles.
If you are looking for more options apart from the usual Gelare and Ben & Jerry’s, here are healthier alternatives that taste just as good!
1. Birds of Paradise

This gelato boutique uses natural and botanical ingredients, such as fruits, flowers, pods, herbs, and spices, to create their unique range of flavours. Their products are free of alcohol, gelatin and eggs while their sorbets are dairy-free.
We tried their mango as well as the peach and rose sorbet and found it refreshing, fragrant and of the right level of sweetness. Their crispy and freshly made cones add texture that compliments the ice-cream.

Do note that there is no seating area at their Jewel outlet but no worries, you can always find a spot to enjoy your ice-cream around Jewel’s iconic waterfall.

2. Kind Kones

Kind Kones is an all natural vegan ice-cream parlour that also offers desserts like brownies and cookies that are healthier.
Their ice-cream is free of dairy, egg, refined sugar, soy, preservatives and additives so it allows you to indulge in your treats without guilt. They also have gluten-free options!

Their banana split comes with two ice cream flavours and toppings of your choice. We went for salted chocolate chip and strawberry ice cream topped with toasted almonds and granola.
We also got the sunset dream ice cream which was a peach and strawberry flavour with a gluten-free cone. The cone was particularly unique as it was nutty and flavourful.
Kind Kones can definitely satisfy your ice-cream cravings!

Smoocht is the place for everything vegan. This means they’re dairy-free, egg-free and entirely plant based. Besides ice-cream, they also have a wide range of vegan brownies and cheesecakes.
The outlet has a chill atmosphere that is perfect for your mid-day catch up with your friends.

Their strawberry fields ice-cream had a natural flavour and it even had bits of the strawberry seeds. A unique flavour they had was the atlantic sea salt gula melaka which was very reminiscent of the traditional kueh, ondeh-ondeh – a flavour we recommend on your next visit!
