Learn about the future of overseas volunteering during COVID-19 and what to expect when volunteering in a webinar held by Youth Corps Singapore.
Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Singapore and many other countries have closed their borders. What then is the future of overseas volunteering and service learning when only essential travel is allowed?
An upcoming webinar, called COVID-19 x Overseas Volunteering, seeks to answer that question.
Taking place on Zoom from 8pm to 10pm on Sep 24, the session will feature five speakers from Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam, including the popular Nadia Ongkowidjaja from SGAG.
The panellists will discuss how COVID-19 has affected overseas volunteering, and if it is possible to reinvent the idea of volunteering during the pandemic.
The programme includes a 45-minute question & answer session.
