Hello Kitty event at City Square Mall from May 27 features collectibles and meet-and-greet sessions

The characters of Sanrio will explore sustainability in the upcoming Eco Adventures event that will be held at City Square Mall from May 27 to Jun 26. 

The event will feature Hello Kitty and her best friend My Melody, while focusing on environmental friendliness and saving the planet.

Meet-and-greet sessions will be held at Basement Two of the mall from Jun 3 to 26, where visitors will be able to meet the iconic duo. The sessions will take place on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. 

There will only be 50 passes available for each session. Those who wish to redeem the passes must spend a minimum of $50 at the mall. 

Additionally, there will also be a Hello Kitty and My Melody Eco Quest which involves four self-guided game stations set up around City Square Mall as part of their continuous effort to encourage sustainability. 

Visitors can scan the QR code at the stations to play games which will educate them on how they can play a part in contributing to environmental friendliness. 

After completing the stations, visitors can upload a snapshot on social media to stand a chance to win an exclusive Hello Kitty hamper worth $128. 

To further explore this idea of sustainability, exclusive Hello Kitty collectibles will be available at other City Development Limited (CDL) malls around Singapore. This includes the Hello Kitty Lunch Bag, the Hello Kitty Tote Bag and the Hello Kitty Lunch Box which are all reusable.

Customers who spend $120 at City Square Mall can also claim a pastel-coloured collapsible Hello Kitty Cup. It will be limited to the first 5,000 redemptions and shoppers can only redeem one each. 

A Sanrio characters fair will also be running at Level One Atrium of the mall. 

It will feature a variety of gifts and collectibles which include clothes, bedsheets, plushies and blind boxes. Customers who spend $50 at the fair will receive a Sanrio character chopstick rest as well.
