HDB launches over 3,800 BTO flats in four estates

The Housing Development Board (HDB) launched a total of 6,373 flats for sale on Tuesday (May 25), including 3,879 Build-To-Order (BTO) flats. 

The BTO flats are located at Bukit Merah, Geylang, Tengan and Woodlands. 

The other 2,494 Sale of Balance (SBF) flats are spread out across various estates in Singapore.

To encourage green and sustainable living, all the BTO flats will have various eco-friendly features – including separate waste chutes for recyclable waste, bicycle stands to encourage cycling, and Active, Beautiful, Clean Waters design features.

One of the BTO projects, Garden Bloom @ Tengah, features seven 15-storey residential blocks. Located in Tengah town’s Garden District, residents will be surrounded by lush greenery and biodiversity.

MacPherson Weave, which is conveniently located next to MacPherson MRT Station, features seven residential blocks that range from 15 to 19 storeys high. There are many recreational and sports facilities within the area, including nearby parks and Geylang East Swimming Complex.

Woodgrove Ascent at Woodlands Avenue 1 will have seven residential blocks that are 15 to 25 storeys high, making it the tallest building in the vicinity. It is located near various vicinities including Causeway Point, Woodlands Civic Centre and Marsiling Mall.

At Telok Blangah Beacon, which is located along Telok Blangah Drive, there are 175 three-room and four-room units available. At 38 storeys high, integrated commercial facilities can be found on the lower floors. 

The starting prices for non-mature towns Tengah and Woodlands range from $98,000 for a two-room Flexi at Woodlands to $404,000 for a five-room flat at Tengah.

Flats for mature towns MacPherson and Telok Blangah cost between $180,000 for a two-room Flexi at MacPherson to $602,000 for a flat at Telok Blangah.

With the tighter COVID-19 measures, HDB urges members of the public not to visit HDB Hub or HDB Branches. Instead, they can apply for the flats via HDB InfoWEB from now until next Monday (May 31).
