A series of activities that will help visitors to understand the various wildlife at the Singapore Zoo and River Wonders better will be organised by the Mandai Wildlife Group.

Running from May 28 to Jun 26, the 12 activities which will be a part of the Playtime at Toybox event will take place at Singapore Zoo and River Wonders.

Across the two parks, participants can take part in the various activities, with each activity having a theme in relation to the popular Hasbro brands – My Little Pony, MONOPOLY, Play-Doh and NERF.

For fans of NERF guns, the NERF Archerfish Accuracy Challenge is one such activity they can take part in.

Participants can try their hand at emulating the precision and stealth of nature’s aquatic sharpshooter, the Archerfish.

As it preys on land-based insects and small animals by striking them with a spray of water droplets from their mouths, they are said to almost always hit their first shot, which participants can try to achieve through the challenge.

Another activity is the My Little Pony Twilight Sparkle’s Yoga Challenge.

In the challenge, participants can strengthen their core muscles with animal poses and then join Twilight Sparkle and her other pony friends to indulge in colourful hair extensions that represent the vibrant colours of nature, available at novel beauty stations.

Both of the activities listed above will take place at the Singapore Zoo, at Pavillion By the Lake and Opposite the Chimpanzee Exhibit and Rainforest KidzWorld respectively.

For participants who would like to explore both parks, the MONOPOLY Central activity gives an opportunity to do so.

Participants will have to find the four property cards scattered across the parks by solving clues connected to the animals and taking on animal workouts and challenges, earning stamps along the way.

In order to participate in the 12 activities offered, participants are required to pre-purchase a Toybox Experience Passport, which retails at $15, not inclusive of admission fees into the parks.

Participants can also opt for the ToyBox Playtime Bundle, which is inclusive of admission to Singapore Zoo and River Wonders on top of access to the 12 activities.

The bundle retails at $75 for adults and $52 for children and comes with a limited edition mini-keychain. However, the bundle is only available to local residents.

Upon completion of four activities in each park, a limited-edition mini magnet sporting the Hasbro brands can be redeemed.

The Passport and Bundle to the Playtime at Toybox can be purchased here
