To celebrate the 35th anniversary of Transformers: The Movie, Hasbro Pulse will release all four seasons of The Transformers original television series on its YouTube channel.
The series, which was originally aired from 1984 to 1987, featured 98 episodes and were broadcasted across four seasons. It is also based on the famous Hasbro toyline, also known as Generation One.
The first two seasons of the series have already been uploaded, while the remaining two seasons will be rolled out progressively each weekend starting Sunday (Sep 5).
The series serves as an introduction to the Transformers mythos.
It tells the story of an ancient conflict between the transforming robots known as the Autobots and the Decepticons. The destruction of their homeworld Cybertron forced them to flee to Earth, which is where the majority of the story took place.
Currently, there are seven movies in the franchise with a new Transformers standalone movie in the works.
You can watch the Transformers original series for free in HD on Hasbro Pulse’s YouTube channel.
