Halal kopitiam Kedai Kopi to open in Yishun; Western stall Amigo’s to offer new menu
The new Amigo’s outlet will open on Nov 1.
Amigo’s by Tenderfresh Group will open its 18th outlet at the upcoming Kedai Kopi Yishun 925 on Nov 1 with a new Texas-Mexican inspired menu.
This outlet will be the first in the North to offer dishes from this new menu.
Earlier this year, two Amigo’s stalls in Telok Blangah and Bukit Batok East successfully received the Halal certification from Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura (MUIS).
Amigo’s will also apply for Halal certification for its new outlet in Yishun. Kedai Kopi requires all of its stalls to either be Muslim-owned or to apply for Halal certification upon opening.
Visitors at the new Yishun outlet can look forward to a series of hand-stretched, made-to-order, oven-fresh pizzas. Popular pizza flavours such as the BBQ smoked duck will be available too.
This pizza and other thin-crust pizzas are recommended for sharing among four pax.
Fried chicken lovers can try the Tex-Mex Fried Chicken (2 Pieces) and Chicken Wings with Chilli Lime Dip.
Each component of a dish is said to be carefully researched and developed in-house. Sauces such as the Chipotle Mayo and the Guacamole and Tomato Salsa have had their ingredients carefully sourced to adhere to the current Halal certification standards.
The Truffle Mushroom Baked Rice, priced at $10.90, will also be available in the baked rice series.
The Yishun outlet will be located at Blk 925 Yishun Central 1, #01-211, Singapore 760925 and will open from 11am to 10.30pm daily from Nov 1.
