Google Pay launches National Day-inspired virtual game; vouchers, cashback to be won
The game will only last from Aug 1 to 14.
To celebrate Singapore’s 57th birthday, Google Pay has introduced a special in-app mini-game titled Lion City Cake. The game is accessible from Aug 1 to 14 and allows users to win vouchers and earn cashbacks.

Upon completion of various transactions and actions on the app, users can decorate each layer of a virtual cake with icons synonymous with Singapore’s landmarks like Marina Bay Sands and Changi Airport.
Users will win a cashback voucher valued from $1.57 to $57 after completing three specific transactions. These include sending at least $10 to a friend with Google Pay and making a PayNow and FavePay merchant transaction of at least $3 on the app.
Additionally, users can also win special vouchers from partners such as Deliveroo, Klook, Guardian and Lazada, as well as a selection of Singapore brands.

Users will also be rewarded with one additional voucher per day by answering three out of five quiz questions on Singapore correctly.
The Google Pay app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store or the App Store.
