Gong Cha launches new milk tea with Famous Amos cookies
Bringing in Chinese New Year with two well-loved sweet treats.
What is tea without a cookie? Gong Cha has partnered with Famous Amos to release a new concoction – the Cookies Earl Grey-Hazelnut Milk Tea – just in time for Chinese New Year.
The $7.80 drink is made from their signature milk tea and Valrhona hazelnut praline. It is dressed with freshly baked Famous Amos original chocolate chip cookies atop a generous dollop of whipped cream.
As part of the collaboration, Gong Cha is also selling Famous Amos cookies in exclusive Chinese New Year packaging. The cookies can only be bought together with the new drink, limited to one box of cookies for every cup purchased. This bundle costs $16.80.
The brands are holding a giveaway for the tea and cookies bundle on Gong Cha’s Facebook and Instagram page.
The new drink is available for a limited time at any Gong Cha outlet in Singapore. It is also available on food delivery apps like Grabfood, foodpanda and Deliveroo.
This is not the first time Gong Cha has partnered with well-loved brands to satisfy the sweet tooth. Fans of their other adventurous creations such as their KitKat milk tea and Häagen-Dazs Bubble Tea Float can certainly look forward to trying the new drink as well.
