Gong Cha is ushering the Lunar New Year with limited edition Prosperity Melon Bubble Tea Float

Only 3,000 cups will be made available at Gong Cha outlets on Feb 4 islandwide.

Not sure what you can do to usher in the Lunar New Year? How about being one of the few in Singapore to get your hands on a limited edition bubble tea? 

Bubble tea joint Gong Cha is launching its latest drink, Prosperity Melon Bubble Tea Float, on Feb 4. 

Priced at $6.80 each, only 3,000 cups will be made available at 20 Gong Cha outlets to celebrate the Lunar New Year.  

The 20 outlets are: 313@Somerset, Funan Mall, Northpoint City, SMU, Ang Mo Kio, Hougang Mall, The Frontier (NUS Science Canteen), Takashimaya, Causeway Point, Lot One Shoppers’ Mall, Paya Lebar Quarter, Toa Payoh Mall, Century Square, Marina Square, Plaza Singapura, Westgate, Compass One, NEX, SingPost Centre and Woodlands MRT.

The Prosperity Melon Bubble Tea float will see a fusion of Haagen Dazs’ Cantaloupe Melon ice cream and Gong Cha’s Alisan brewed tea, topped off with the sweet Honey Pearl toppings which gives the drink a sublime chewy texture.

Berry Abundance Drink

If you’re unable to get your hands on a cup of Prosperity Melon Bubble Tea float, you can also try Gong Cha’s Berry Abundance Drink. 

The drink is a refreshing mix of tart strawberry and tropical lychee syrup fused with Gong Cha’s best-selling Alisan tea base. 

The thirst quencher is topped off with adorable heart-shaped strawberry flavoured jelly, which gives the drink a hearty chew along with a subtle sweet yet fruity aftertaste. 

The Berry Abundance Drink, priced at $3.80 per cup (500ml), is available across all Gong Cha outlets, while stocks last.

Petite Gold Pineapple Tarts

Pineapple tarts are a must-have during the Lunar New Year celebrations and Gong Cha will be launching its Petite Gold Pineapple Tarts as well. 

Available exclusively for purchase at all Gong Cha outlets, the pineapple tarts consist of a crumbly crust baked to golden perfection. When bitten, the tarts give way to a fluffy and aromatic centre filled with sumptuous pineapple jam.
