Genshin Impact’s developer opens headquarters in Singapore, hiring multiple roles

Video game developer and publisher HoYoverse is hiring for multiple roles after it opened its headquarters in Singapore.
Jobs available span across different fields, such as game development, engineering, marketing, product, operations, function, and project management. Some positions the company is hiring include Senior Level Artist, IT Engineers, Gameplay Programmer and Character Concept Designer.
A Senior Level Artist is expected to produce 3D assets and scenes, as well as create environment art for the new miHoYo game, while a IT manager is responsible for implementing a network system and maintaining it.

HoYoverse’s headquarters which spans 28,000 sq ft was opened on Monday (Jul 18). It sports a blue and white colour scheme and was created with the intention to serve as a flexible work environment for its employees.
The office will also serve as a key hub for HoYoverse’s global distribution and operation efforts.
“Our team in Singapore will play a crucial role in broadening our global development and service network,” said Forrest Liu, co-founder of HoYoverse.
“We’re eager for more creative minds from diverse backgrounds to join us in building the future.”
The brand said it embraces a flexible working model, encouraging employees based in Singapore and North America to work in a space that evokes creativity and productivity within them.
In order to support this model, HoYoverse said it provides its employees with the necessary equipment, technical support, and welfare and benefit packages to ensure an inclusive and safe work environment.
According to a statement released by HoYoverse, the premises will also house “a dedicated team of professionals” in order for the developer to provide high-quality entertainment services worldwide.
HoYoverse has published critically-acclaimed titles including Genshin Impact, Honkai Impact 3rd, Tears of Themis, and a wide range of animations, comics, music and merchandise.
Games that are expected to be released soon include Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero.
