Fundraiser event Cats of the World Purrzaar to return from May 28 to 29

Cats of the World (COTW) Purrzaar, a fundraiser event organised in partnership with Cat Welfare Society (CWS), returns from May 28 to 29 at Crane Robertson. 

The event will raise funds and support CWS’ causes through workshops, a cat adoption drive and the sale of cat-themed merchandise.

The marketplace will feature pop-up stalls by vendors such as Yappy Pets. Yappy Pets will sell different brands of cat food such as Nurture Pro Nano Colloidal Silver, Daily Delight, and Ciao Cat Treats. A Kitty Goodie Bag containing a discount voucher and various brands of cat food can be purchased at $10.

Other merchandise available are the various cat-themed trinkets, accessories, and stationeries sold by vendors including Amy Handmade Ceramics, Cat Mama Shop, Kitties In Need, Oatsie’s Trunk, Troops on Print, Whimsy and Magic, Momshoo and Purrballs

Customers can also check out Eat to Draw for original Linocut cat prints and stamps as well as cat ear hair bands and accessories. 

Eat To Draw will also be hosting Cats Blockprinting Workshops with Eat To Draw from 11.30am to 1pm on both days. For $65 per person, the workshop provides a step-by-step tutorial on how customers can carve their own personalised rubber stamps. 

All materials are provided and customers will get to bring home their carved stamps, an ink pad, and artworks.

Tiny Rabbit Hole, a shop that specialises in crocheted goods, will also set up a workshop titled Meow Meow Trinket Crochet Workshop with Tiny Rabbit Hole. The workshop teaches basic crochet techniques for customers to crochet their own basket. 

The fee is $60 and includes all the materials and tools needed to crochet. The workshop is held on May 29 from 4.30pm to 6pm.

Tiny Rabbit Hole will also sell crochet cats baskets. All the proceeds from these baskets will go to CWS. 

There will be another two workshops held by Momshoo and Magicten Art Studio available for sign up.

The event will be held at Crane @ Robertson at The Herencia, 46 Kim Yam Road. It is open from 11am to 7pm on May 28 and 29. Admission to the bazaar is free.
