Free Korean BBQ buffet if you can hang on a bar for 100 seconds
A Korean barbecue stall in Sengkang is hosting this challenge till February.
When looking for the best value-for-money buffets, the most common offerings would be a one-for-one or a two-for-one.
But a Korean barbecue joint in the heartlands of Sengkang is offering something even better – an all-expense covered buffet, as long as you hang on a bar for 100 seconds.
Located at a coffee shop on 473 Fernvale Street, Michin Korean BBQ and Hotpot is hosting the challenge up till February.
Anyone who dares need only to hang from a pull-bar, and once past the 100-second mark, their bill will be waived. On top of that, a 50 percent discount is given to a maximum of four accompanying diners.
This is not the first time the restaurant was offering free meals for completing a physical challenge.
In their previous challenge, initiated by their founder celebrity chef Benson Tong in November last year, customers were entitled to discounts based on the number of pull-ups they did.
The grand prize at the time was a free meal on the house, which would be awarded for completing 10 pull-ups for females, or 15 pull-ups for males.
Since then, Benson has not only modified the challenge, but increased the stakes as well.
Going with a slogan “Hang for your life”, the unorthodox promotion has attracted a younger customer base to their stall, with many uploading their attempts to Tiktok.

Even without the ongoing challenge, the stall is still recognised for their competitive buffet pricing. At $19.95 for weekdays and $22.95 for weekends, customers can treat themselves to a free flow of seafood and meat items, including the likes of mud crab and Iberico pork.
