Free COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test (ART) self-test kits will be distributed to those who had visited Teban Gardens Market & Food Centre and 216 Bedok Food Centre, the Ministry of Health (MOH) announced on Tuesday (Jul 28) night.

The collection will run from Jul 28 to Jul 29 at Residents’ Committee Centres in the vicinity of the both locations.

MOH said it is working with the People’s Association to distribute the kits to individuals who had visited selected markets and food centres in the last 14 days, including those who live near these venues.

MOH strongly encourages those eligible for the kits to collect them and conduct self-testing. They can refer to https://www.gowhere.gov.sg/art and key in their postal code to check the nearest Residents’ Committee Centre for self-collection.

Four new COVID-19 clusters have been identified, including Westlite Juniper Dormitory and Punggol Primary School, MOH added in its update on Tuesday night.

The Westlite Juniper Dormitory has nine cases linked to it, eight of which are dormitory residents, while four cases are linked to a cleaner at Punggol Primary School. The other two new active clusters each have three individual cases linked to it.

There are currently 39 active clusters, ranging between three and 902 infections.

MOH reported 136 new local COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, of which 36 are linked to the Jurong Fishery Port and two to the KTV cluster. There were also 55 infections that were unlinked.

Six new cases have been linked to Samy’s Curry Restaurant in Dempsey, which now has a cluster of 28 cases. The Marina Bay Sands Casino has also grown to 40 cases.
