As the annual Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix returns after a two-year hiatus, electrical company DZ Engineering SL will launch a F1-themed photographic exhibition at The Arts House from Sep 28 to Oct 3.

Organised in partnership with Italian art agency Dino Zoli Foundation, Twelve Years of Lights and Racing in the Lion City coincides with the return of the night F1 race from Sep 30 to Oct 2, after a contract extension was signed in January for Singapore to host the race for another seven years.

The exhibition presents the work of acclaimed Italian photographer Flavio Mazzi, who has four decades of experience under his belt photographing over 450 F1 events, which include competitions and team launches.

It documents 12 years of iconic night races at the Marina Bay Street Circuit since its 2008 inception, and will feature many storied photographs which depict the thrills and spills of the races over the years.

The exhibition is curated by art director Nadia Stefanel for the Dino Zoli Foundation, who has also worked on and organised past cultural events for Singapore’s motorsport scene.

Twelve Years of Lights and Racing in the Lion City will run from Sep 28 to Oct 3, 10am to 10pm at The Arts House. Admission is free of charge.
