February is dubbed to be the month of love with Valentine’s Day falling on the 14th.

But instead of simply celebrating our loved ones this month, why not consider spreading love to those who need it more through volunteering?

Here are five volunteer opportunities available in February 2022.

1. Grouting of Mosaic art pieces by Friends of the Disabled Society

Friends of the Disabled Society (FDS) aims to meet the social needs of physically impaired people by providing avenues for them to interact among themselves or able-bodied people.

This workshop gets volunteers to help with the grouting of the mosaic art pieces made by beneficiaries.

It will be held on Feb 10, 15 and 17 at 10am and 2pm at FDS at Novena. Each session will last for three hours.

2. Camera or video person for #IChooseHope art workshop for children by Youth Corps Leaders Programme

#IChooseHope aims to create an art journal for students under the Study Buddy programme of CampusImpact. A camera or video person is needed for the workshop who needs to be able to edit the photos or videos after the workshop.

The session is taking place on Mar 16, and registration closes once all the slots are full. Registration is already open this month.

It takes place on Feb 26 from 9am to 11am.
