September is here! With the Mid-Autumn Festival just around the corner, there are lots of activities to enjoy.
Here are five things to do this weekend (Sep 2 to 4):
1. Celebrate Mid-Autumn at Gardens by the Bay

Bask in the festive spirit at Gardens by the Bay as the Mid-Autumn celebrations return in full scale with massive lantern displays.
There will also be an outdoor marketplace, featuring more than 10 stalls selling popular Asian fare, as well as exciting cultural performances every weekend by acts like Singapore Chinese Dance Theatre.
There will also be A Date Under the Stars Concert, which will feature homegrown talents belting out a medley of Xin Yao and Ming Yao Mandarin pop songs, and a K-Pop dance crew.
2. Check out fusion mooncakes at NEX

Looking to impress your friends and relatives with some mooncakes this Mid-Autumn? The TANGS Mid-Autumn Fair at NEX might just have your answer.
Happening from now till Sep 10, you can expect interesting combinations such as matcha with mango pomelo sago, kueh lapis with cream and white chocolate champagne truffle with lychee.
The fair is located at the Level 1 Atrium of NEX and is open from 10am to 10pm. For more information, visit NEX’s website.
3. Try Shake Shack’s new menu

Fans of Shake Shack, rejoice! Two new items have just been added to the menu.
Paying tribute to Shake Shack’s home state of New York and its famous old-school steakhouses, the N.Y. Steakhouse Burger and N.Y. Steakhouse Fries are now available at outlets islandwide.
Complete the meal with your choice of Shack wine — a crisp Shack White Sauvignon Blanc or earthy Shack Red Pinot Noir — or a pint of ShackMeister Ale, created exclusively for Shake Shack by New York’s Brooklyn Brewery.
The N.Y. Steakhouse menu is available till Oct 31.
4. Reminisce good times at Jurong Bird Park

Before the iconic national park bids farewell to its current location in Jurong, visitors are invited to relive their fondest memories through A Flight To Remember, a line-up of activities celebrating the park’s heritage from Sep 3, 2022 to Jan 3, 2023.
Activities planned include photo opportunities, a self-guided Heritage Trail, a special staff-curated trail, and the Nostalgic Signature Tour which will open in November.
Jurong Bird Park is located at 2 Jurong Hill, Singapore 628925 and is open from Thursdays to Sundays from 8.30am to 6pm.
5. Enjoy Eggslut’s limited-time menu by Chef Paul Longworth

In celebration of Eggslut’s first year in Singapore, the Los Angeles brand has partnered with Paul Longworth, founder and chef de cuisine of the Michelin-starred French restaurant Rhubarb Le Restaurant, to develop a one-day-only chef’s special.
Available only on Sep 4 till sold out is Eggslut’s iconic Fairfax sandwich with a French twist. Called Rhubarb’s Sandwich, it will include soft-scrambled eggs, beetroot-cured salmon trout, red onion and spicy horseradish sauce on a brioche bun.
There’ll also be the Popcorn Mousse Slut, Eggslut’s version of Rhubarb Le Restaurant’s seasonal dish Emulsion which is a comforting, soup-like combination of egg, carrots and chorizo with a buttery popcorn mousse.
Eggslut’s flagship store is located at #01-12, Scotts Square, 6 Scotts Road, Singapore 228209 and is open daily from 8am to 10pm.
