Four things to do this weekend (Oct 15-17)
If you’ve got no plans for the weekend yet, we’ve got you covered.
The current COVID-19 measure might be a damper, but that does not mean you can’t have fun!
There are still plenty of activities that you can do in your groups of two.
Here are five things to do this weekend (Oct 15-17):
1. Indulge in the first-ever Singapore Games Week

The inaugural Singapore Games Week was launched earlier this week by the Singapore Games Association (SGGA) in celebration of the local gaming industry.
Taking place online, the entire event will run until Oct 31.
Main highlights include a Virtual Village where participants can create their own avatars and explore the village. There will also be a design workshop and treasure hunt that you can take part in. Additionally, be sure to catch the Asia Games Awards that will take place at the event too.

2. Check out Fann Wong’s tarts

Local Ah Jie Fann Wong launched her online pastry shop, Fanntasy, earlier this week with much fanfare – a thousand tarts were sold in half an hour! While they are currently out of stock, Wong has assured fans that more desserts will be introduced in the near future.
Meanwhile, you can imagine the taste of their mouth-watering Musang King Gula Melaka Tart and Signature Valrhona Chocolate Tart, and stay tuned to their relaunch here.
3. Try some army stew
Who says you can’t eat hotpot alone?
At Fufu Pot, a newly opened restaurant, diners are served one-pax hotpot pots that cater to individual dining. You can choose from eight Asian flavoured soup bases, ranging from bolder options like Sichuan Mala and White Curry to more conventional ones like Mushroom and Tomato. Prices range from S$9.90 to S$24.90 depending on your order.
Fufu Pot is located at Plaza Singapura, 68 Orchard Rd #06-07, Singapore 238839. It opens daily from 11am to 10pm.
4. Listen to Adele’s new single

It has been six long years since Grammy award-winning singer Adele released new music. So good news, Adele fans: her new single ‘Easy On Me’ has been released!
The song focuses on the themes of self-reflection and self-redemption, as well as how Adele hopes to be kinder to herself and her hopes for the future after a difficult few years. Easy On Me is the first single off Adele’s upcoming fourth studio album titled 30, slated for a Nov 19 release.
